Facebook, Google and Myspace – Competition for Friends

MySpace and Google tried to confront the Facebook plan for expansion. These two companies even performed together for some time, in order to prevent the attempts of Facebook to totally dominate the Internet. These companies have been trying to implement ideas that would allow users to content from various web pages and share with all other social services, not just with Facebook.

Social network MySpace, whose popularity quickly decreased, added Facebook Connect button to their pages.

Clicking on MySpace, Facebook Connect users receive information about all the things they “love” on Facebook, and the data is integrated into their page on MySpace.

It is estimated that MySpace with this move conceded defeat in the battle with Facebook, and instead decided to further combat their services connected with Facebook. Firefox vs Chrome

In the browser wars two companies have made a big move in recent years with Mozilla and Google, with each releasing browsers with different strengths. Today we will go over those strengths.

Chrome is a light weight browser that is quick to load and between pages. The bookmark system takes a while to get use to and it has difficulties saving passwords. Some sites your login information will never save correctly. There are fewer plugins for Chrome than other browsers and the integration isn’t as straight forward as other browsers.

Firefox has been in the market longer than Chrome. You will notice at first that Firefox is more dependent on resources. The browser has a perfect setup for bookmarks that is easily organized for future use with a toolbar and a drop down from the title bar. The real winner with Firefox is the availably of plugins that you can use with the program. Do you want to grab videos from YouTube? Download music? Grab Emails? Check Backlinks?
